Sheranut
Inspiration
The creation of the capsule collection 2018 collection is inspired by the jagged, yet regular and symmetric zig-zag pattern. The pattern projects an image of a busy and fun urbanite woman on a chaotic working day, or on a weekend full of entertaining activities with friends and family. In other words, it represents a modern and confident working woman who is socially adept and full of optimism. A representation of a charismatic and sophisticated yet charming and gentlewoman, the dress cut styles remain distinctly SHERANUT, with fluid and draping fabrics that have a fabulous body. The collection includes dresses with a form-fitting style designed to fit close to your body, as well as looser fits that fall beautifully and still show off your curves without needing to be tight at all. A defining feature of this season’s collection is simple, subtle dressing for any day’s wear. In other words, the dresses have amazing simplicity and wearability and would fit in anywhere and on any occasion.
Fabrics & Colors
The SHERANUT Capsule 2018 collection takes great care in selecting the right chiffon fabrics with suitable thicknesses for each and every dress. Some sheer and some opaque chiffons, mixed with elegant and light Silk Satin materials.
Techniques & Details
The SHERANUT Capsule 2018 collection skillfully plays with a swift zig-zag pattern by arranging strips of fabric through silver rings of various sizes, carefully positioned at precise locations to optimize your body shape.

Shannon Sutiono
SHANNON is a semi-formal, ready-to-wear brand that caters to women. Its style is minimal but detailed; with clean lines, fine materials, craftsmanship, and ideal fit being the key elements of SHANNON. The designer behind the brand, Shannon Sutiono, wants to provide women with clothing that not only reflects what is defined as classic but at the same time modern. Elevated textiles mixed with handmade embellishment or special detail bring in textures and shapes to each and every one of its garments. The use of a neutral palette makes SHANNON’s pieces timeless and effortless, but not boring by the addition of seasonal accent colors. SHANNON is the answer for women who like simple dressing but at the same time making statements.
Shannon Sutiono, an Indonesian Chinese, was born and raised in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Through its diversity, Jakarta exposed her to a variety of styles, colors, and cultures from around the world, which often comes as the source of inspiration for her designs. Living in Singapore while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in fashion at Raffles Design Institute, the city witnessed the growth of her style, and she managed to further learn about the world’s fashion industry and garment-making techniques. Her style is simple, not too elaborate, but rich in details. She believes that quality is key, that’s why most of her pieces require a lot of time and craftsmanship to produce.

Carrie K – Singapore
Carrie K. was established in 2009 out of a love of meaningful storytelling. Just a year later, we were awarded ELLE Awards’ “Jewellery Designer of the Year”, catapulting us into an international export label.
It all started with a trip to Florence, Italy where the founder, Carolyn found herself taking a month-long apprenticeship with a silversmith. As she put the finishing touches on the first piece of jewellery made by her, she had an epiphany. And at that moment she knew she wanted to be a silversmith and jewellery designer, and Carrie K. was born.

Harry Halim
Indonesian born – raised in Singapore and Paris. Harry Halim is a Paris-based Creative Director who graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore. In 2006, he launched his first womenswear collection in Singapore where he was formerly based.
After encouraging feedback from the industry and customers, he presented 2007 his second collection at the Singapore Fashion Festival while continuing his refined aesthetic of dangerously sophisticated elegance, which drew an impressive response from the international press and buyers who love him as a modern couturier.
In 2008, Harry Halim was awarded Best Asian Designer of the Year and was featured in the International industry-go-to compendium, Asian Young Fashion Designers.
The same year, he relocated his studio to Paris and started a new debut collection in Fall/Winter 2010. The collection was positively reviewed by influential fashion critics for his conceptual imagination. The following season, Harry Halim became the first Indonesian designer accepted in Paris Fashion Week’s official agenda.
In 2016 Harry Halim dedicated 1 year fully to his loyal customers, by making special private and intimate collections for each of them. “It was a personal desire I had, I wanted to honor those women who believed in me, I wanted to know them well, so I decided to make them special private sur-mesure pieces where their own self became THE inspiration behind it”
As the brand expands its clientele around the globe, Harry Halim now travels between France and Indonesia while preparing his new collection.
The Spring Summer 2018 collection releases in October 2017 during Paris Fashion Week. The collection is called “Les Fleurs du Mal”, inspired by Charles Baudelaire’s same-titled book of poems.
Loyal to its core identity, he described the brand Harry Halim as an adventure of exploring those little dark sides of every strong and independent woman. The creative director leads the brand into his personal universe where women are empowered and praised.
“I’m not trying to entertain anybody, or trying to be who I am not. Those women are the inspiration of my works, so I look upon them, and I believe they never try to be someone they’re not, or try to be different, or unique, they are not followers, they refuse to be dictated by anyone or anything, they do what makes them stronger – perhaps by fighting for what they believe in, or slowing down to get what they want… and that’s what this brand is about”.
Unlike many designers working in the industry today, he drapes all his own patterns and toiles in his studio in Paris.
“As a native Indonesian, this beautiful country always inspired me by its hundreds of tribal cultures diversity. Singapore molded me to be a perfectionist. While Paris is bringing me to another level of life. The city of light taught me to live by, with, and for passion, be true to yourself, and enhanced my appreciation of quality and freedom.” Moving forward, in response to high demands and his desire to strengthen his relationship with his inspiring homeland, Harry Halim announced the opening of his first flagship store in Jakarta in November 2017.

After finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion in the Instituto Brivil of Caracas, Jesus was awarded the Silver thimble as the second-best final Collection, which also landed him a scholarship from the Indonesian government to study abroad due to his participation as the secretary of the Canting Club for Batik Lovers; a community founded by the Embassy of Indonesia in Venezuela in order to promote the use and practice the technique of Batik.

The splice of different materials, the fusion, deformation, and partial elongation, the transparent and non-transparent fabrics create a sense of depth and convey the spirit of integration. Inspired by the city’s neon lights in the 1980s, the colors used throughout the series are neon purple, electric blue, sunset red and laser yellow embellished. Colorful neon lights and repetitive synthesized electronic music echo through the city and buildings are surrounded by people exploring the city.
