Copenhagen Fashion Week SS26: A Nordic Style Renaissance

Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) SS26 is setting the stage for a new chapter in Scandinavian fashion. From 4–8 August 2025, the Danish capital will host 30 runway shows and 15 presentations, spotlighting both celebrated veterans and exciting fresh talent.

The week’s most anticipated comeback belongs to Cecilie Bahnsen, returning to Copenhagen after seven Paris seasons, marking her brand’s 10th anniversary with a one-night-only spectacle. Joining her are long-time CPHFW favourites Rotate, Baum und Pferdgarten, and The Garment, alongside buzzworthy names like Nicklas Skovgaard and Caro Editions.

CPHFW continues to amplify voices from across the Nordics. Swedish disruptors Rave Review make their Copenhagen runway debut after Milan, while Icelandic powerhouse 66North celebrates its centenary in style. Finnish icons Marimekko and Rolf Ekroth return, and for the first time, Oslo Runway steps in to represent Norway.

Menswear continues its ascendance, with labels like Mfpen, Sunflower, NN07, and Berner Kühl creating a mini menswear hub in the city. Beyond the catwalk, expect intimate dinners, creative collaborations, and off-runway moments that deepen Copenhagen’s sense of community from Stine Goya’s art-infused soirée to Ray-Ban x Dazed’s late-night gathering.

This season’s New Talent Programme blends fresh energy with seasoned vision. Danish creative Anne Sofie Madsen stages her return after an eight year hiatus, while Freya Dalsjø and PLN re enter the scene with renewed ambition. Meanwhile, the Ones to Watch lineup including Stem and Kettel Atelier offers a glimpse into the future of sustainable and artisanal fashion.

The aesthetic forecast? Fluid tailoring, ease of silhouette, and preppy revival with a Nordic twist. Expect Danish pragmatism meeting global trend fluency all underpinned by CPHFW’s signature sustainability, creativity, and community-first ethos.

In the words of industry veteran Bruce Pask: “Copenhagen isn’t just about shows it’s about conversations, connections, and the kind of creative exchange that lingers long after the lights dim.”
