Loewe Celebrates a Decade of the Iconic Puzzle Bag with the Exclusive “Puzzle 10” Collection

Marking ten years of one of its most emblematic creations, Loewe pays tribute to the iconic Puzzle Bag with the launch of Puzzle 10 a limited edition collection that reimagines 19 of its most celebrated designs from the past decade, along with the debut of one entirely new piece.

This celebratory series spotlights the Spanish maison’s unparalleled originality and signature wit. Each bag becomes a canvas for artistry: intricate embroidery, cross-stitching, leather marquetry, and painterly motifs some adorned with poetic phrases culminating in a tactile feast for the senses. Every design is finished with a limited-edition metal plaque and accompanied by two whimsical Loewe balloon charms.

Re-editions, but make it timeless

From the SS15 runway to Paula’s Ibiza Parrot, Cloud, Pixel, Mackintosh, and William Morris editions, each archival piece returns with renewed vibrancy. Standout styles like the Patchwork Re-Edition and Varsity Re-Edition highlight the bag’s versatility, while the Ken Price and Joe Brainard versions celebrate cross disciplinary artistry.

The pièce de résistance? The Confetti Puzzle an exuberant new design showered in thousands of miniature leather and metal sequins, capturing the spirit of celebration while staying true to the Puzzle’s distinctive cuboid construction.

Inspired by the precision folds of origami, the Puzzle Bag is meticulously handcrafted to fold flat like paper, a singular innovation that has defined Loewe’s design language since its debut on the Spring/Summer 2015 womenswear runway. Over the years, it has evolved across an array of materials, sizes, and configurations spawning a full family of Puzzle bags and accessories.

Global celebration

Each Puzzle 10 piece arrives in a special Anagram-embossed gold box, complete with an exclusive jigsaw puzzle inspired by the bag. The collection will be showcased in pop-up spaces around the globe, from Bergdorf Goodman, New York to Harrods, London alongside exhibitions at Genesis Art Gallery, Beijing and Dopeness Art Lab, Taipei, where Loewe’s artisans will demonstrate the meticulous techniques behind each fold and stitch.

In Indonesia, the Loewe Puzzle 10 pop up opened at Plaza Indonesia on 24 July and runs until 6 September 2025, offering local collectors the rare chance to experience the artistry up close.
