Selena Gomez Enters the World of Fragrance with Rare Beauty’s First Scent: Rare Eau de Parfum

Selena Gomez is expanding the Rare Beauty universe this time, through scent. Introducing Rare Eau de Parfum, the brand’s first ever fragrance, designed not just to be worn, but experienced.

Known for cult favorite products like the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and Tinted Lip Oil, Rare Beauty now steps into a new sensory realm where comfort meets confidence in every note.

Selena Gomez: Rare Eau de Parfum

The perfume opens with a warm, addictive trio of caramel, pistachio, and pink pepper, unfolding into heart notes of vanilla, ginger, and cocoa beans. Anchored by sandalwood, tonka bean, and skin musk, this scent is made to evolve over 12 hours, reflecting Gomez’s own words:

“I wanted to create a scent that could evolve with the moment—from quiet mornings at home to a night out with my friends.”

And that evolution continues with four fragrance layering balms—Amber Vanilla, Floral Peony Blossom, Fresh Bergamot, and Woody Oak—allowing users to personalize their scent story from day to night.

But Rare Beauty doesn’t stop at olfactory impact. The bottle, created in collaboration with a certified hand therapist and packaging engineers, is designed to be ergonomic and accessible, in line with the brand’s inclusive ethos.

Rare Eau de Parfum

Retailing at $75 for 50ml and $30 for a 10ml travel size, Rare Eau de Parfum launches August 7 via RareBeauty.com, Sephora, and selected global retailers. Even better? 1% of global sales will be donated to the Rare Impact Fund, supporting mental health resources for young people worldwide.

With this new chapter, Rare Beauty continues its mission: making beauty feel good, smell good—and do good.
